This years National Meeting, in looking ahead to the new millenium, places particular emphasis on the importance of building on the success of what has been achieved in prevention through many issues related to promising strategies, outcome-based models, and current research. In continuing to examine the many issues related to alcohol, other drugs, and violence on our campuses and in the surrounding communities, the Planning Committee has articulated four areas of focus upon which to build effective prevention efforts.
